BBQ

Hi all,

we're celebrating our first anniversary on Saturday 4th of July at the Viaduct Inn.

I have attached the flyer and hope to see you there. If you can't view the flyer or have any questions please check on the website/Forums.

The plan is to meet up at 12:00 and we'll go for a short spin to have tea/coffee. We return before 3pm when the BBQ is starting.

The BBQ will be 15€ per person (7€ for child) and with the ticket you can enter the raffle as well. We will stay for the night (until they kick us out), so if you bring your car we have security for the night looking after them into the morning.

Chrysler wanted to compete with its Arch-rivals GM and Studebaker in the mid priced car range.

Shortly after Desoto was introduced Chrysler completed its purchase of the Dodge brothers company. This now gave them two mid priced models and had the transaction been completed sooner Desoto might have never been introduced.

The club
What is it these days with GAScc? Along with the club going from strength to strength we also seem to be blessed with the weather?

This was the case yet again this month as we attended the Youghal classic car show on the 24th May. Youghal, an East Cork sea side town plays host to one of the best cars shows in the Munster region. This mainly is due to the fact that the show is run as a strict classic car show, no steam engines or tractors in sight which usually is the norm on these events.

Hello to everyone at GAScc.

Some of you I’ve met already, others I hope to do so in due course!

Those of you who read Classic American will already know that I spent an incredible week out in the States recently getting some exclusive seat-time in the ZR1 Corvette, the CTS-V Cadillac, and the new Camaro SS.

GAScc in Durrow
The sun was high and bright in the sky, on the afternoon of April the 18th members of Gascc gathered in force again outside KFC in Little Island, for the long awaited journey to Durrow Vintage Show. In total we had 14 cars meeting at 3.30 although there was only 12 cars travelled as Pat o’Sullivan in his 1975 Corvette and David Beadle in his 1988 Camaro had only turned up to send us on our way.
